Job summary

Insight Recruitment seeks a Financial Controller for a brand-new dairy beverage processing facility in Seward, Nebraska. This hands-on role builds the accounting function from the ground up, collaborating with senior leadership to shape processes, controls, and financial rhythm in a manufacturing setting.

You’ll own cost and inventory accounting, close processes, and management reporting while gaining broad exposure across the business. Onsite role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing accounting experience in a plant environment.
• Solid cost and inventory accounting knowledge.
• Experience with month-end close, GL and reconciliations.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and work across accounting areas.
• Curiosity to investigate discrepancies and drivers behind numbers.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, journal entries, general ledger and reconciliations.
• Manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis.
• Inventory accounting and controls.
• AP, AR and payroll responsibilities as needed in a lean team.
• Strengthen internal controls and accuracy of reporting.
• Management reporting and business-focused analysis.
• Identify process improvements as production grows.
