Job summary

ABB is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for the Selmer, TN area. The role focuses on deploying CI strategy locally, mentoring teams, and driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 15 years of experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, leading large projects and purchasing new equipment.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Tools, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis is preferred.
• Experience with project management and proven history of driving and sustaining change.
• Possess knowledge of SAP and MS Office package. Power BI & Power Apps is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Escalating to relevant stakeholders to remove roadblocks for successful deployment of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure local ABB unit level CI strategy aligns with global strategy.
• Facilitate significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost with local leadership.
• Provide training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits.
