Job summary

Saint-Gobain Portage, WI is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to identify inefficiencies and lead cross-functional projects across silicone and plastic molding and extrusion processes. You will drive SAFETY, QUALITY and COST improvements using World Class Manufacturing and Lean methods.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering plus 3+ years of CI or process engineering experience and a proven cost-savings track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, operational excellence or continuous improvement is required.
• 1+ years of a proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives that deliver measurable gains.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and cost improvements through WCM and other CI methods.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute 3–5 improvement projects across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Apply World Class Manufacturing principles, Lean methodologies and data-driven decision making to eliminate waste and improve process capability.
