Job summary

nVent Enclosure Systems LLC is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean initiatives at our Oregon, WI site, advancing manufacturing excellence within the Engineered Building Solutions BU. You will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of Lean/CI experience in manufacturing, expertise in Kaizen and value stream mapping, and strong PM and communication skills to

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement mindset; minimum 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and value stream mapping initiatives.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvement projects (workflow optimization, facility layout, inventory flow).
• Working knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Standard Work, Kanban, value stream mapping, visual management, RCA.
• Strong project management, analytical and communication skills; ability to influence across levels.
• Experience with ERP, MES, warehouse management systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements using Lean principles to boost safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and material flow.
• Lead improvement projects across fabrication, welding, paint, material handling, and final assembly.
• Partner with operations, quality, engineering, and production teams to prioritize opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
• Analyze processes, layouts, and material flow to reduce waste and bottlenecks; improve flow.
• Lead Kaizen events and structured problem-solving to identify root causes and sustain improvements.
• Develop standard work and visual management to improve consistency and operational effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate and sustain improvement results.
