Job summary

Ingredion in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead CI/IPS implementation at the unit level, drive process optimization, and support KPI reporting such as OEE. This onsite role focuses on sustaining Management System tools and delivering training to enable CI adoption and cultural change.

You will collaborate with plant leadership, IT teams, and regional CI groups to identify opportunities, lead Kaizen events, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in Process/Industrial Engineering.
• Trained in Lean Six Sigma; Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OEE, KPI reporting and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI/IPS implementation and sustainment at the unit level.
• Deliver Management System training and promote CI adoption.
• Establish KPI baselines and support target setting with leadership.
• Manage improvement plans via gap analysis to drive targets.
• Support cost reduction, productivity, quality and safety improvements.
• Coach plant teams and mentor CI initiatives to succeed.
