Qualifications

• Reads and interprets diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements.
• Selects, aligns, and secures tooling, accessories, and materials on machines.
• Enters appropriate settings and calibrates equipment for the assigned production order.
• Records production and operational data on specified forms or within data-tracking systems.
• Performs quality checks on products and parts; verifies dimensions with measuring instruments.
• Rotates through all tasks in the production process; works at multiple workstations.
• Keeps a safe, orderly, and clean workplace; may perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sets up tooling and aligns materials on machines like hydraulic presses and test equipment.
• Enters settings, calibrates equipment, and records data for production orders.
• Performs quality checks and verifies dimensions using micrometers and height gauges.
• Maintains safety and orderliness; collaborates with team and other departments as needed.
