Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Capital Projects Engineering Manager to lead large-scale capital projects in a heavy manufacturing setting. The role partners with operations, maintenance, EHS, and leadership to deliver expansions, new equipment, and process improvements while ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proven experience delivering large capital projects incl. facility expansions and equipment installations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and external service providers.
• Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Understanding of health, safety, environmental compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership with stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of capital projects from concept development through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Manage facility expansion and capacity growth initiatives to support long-term objectives.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for engineering and capital improvement projects.
• Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations with engineering leadership and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external engineering firms, contractors, equipment suppliers, and construction teams.
• Monitor costs, schedules, risks, and KPIs to ensure successful execution.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to identify reliability and process improvements.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor engineering personnel.
• Participate in capital planning and portfolio prioritization to align investments with strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices across engineering and manufacturing.
