Job summary
McElroy Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to advance how we fabricate and assemble products using automated material flow, robotic welding, and manufacturing automation. You will own projects from concept through implementation, blending hands-on shop-floor support with longer-term automation initiatives.
The role emphasizes improving safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency while expanding unmanned or semi-automated processes and maintaining flexible operations.
Qualifications
- BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Optimize automated material flow to improve warehouse processes and production readiness.
- Develop and improve robotic welding processes, tooling, fixtures, and workflows.
- Enhance manual welding stations, ergonomics, fixtures, and process control.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive or non-value-added activities and pilot new technologies.
- Lead projects from concept to production and scale manufacturing capability.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste, improve throughput, and simplify workflows.
