Job summary

Elanco seeks an Automation Engineer for the Manufacturing Process Engineering team. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing process controls, integrating equipment into the site SCADA/OT network, and collaborating with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering (or AS with related certs) and 3+ years in automation, with experience in industrial controls.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering with 3+ years in automation or AS with 5+ years in automation.
• Experience with industrial electrical controls (VFDs, PLCs, HMIs).
• Experience in a regulated, GxP manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations and Maintenance by troubleshooting automation failures.
• Collaborate with Engineering and IT to improve SCADA/OT network and equipment.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to investigate process failures.
• Work under Change Control and Computer System Validation in a GxP setting.
