Robin Industries Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to maintain and improve equipment and processes in our Fredericksburg division. You will lead automation projects, tooling design, and capital planning to meet production goals.

The role requires hands-on experience with automation systems, CAD modeling, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong collaboration with Quality, Engineering and Production is essential; safety and documentation are emphasized.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred.
• Rubber molding, adhesive coating, mold tooling and automation experience is preferred.
• CAD modeling, cost estimating, equipment/tooling knowledge and project management preferred.
• Robot and vision system programming experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintain and improve equipment, automation and vision systems to support production needs.
• Understand and adjust automation software to improve process (Fanuc, Epson, Keyence).
• Research new equipment and automation ideas for capital planning.
• Monitor Continuous Improvement and Corrective Action projects and maintain documentation.
• Assist with APQP process on new product launches.
• Lead or participate in projects to improve production capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to Quality System and procedures; propose improvements.
• Develop, revise and maintain work instructions and data processing systems.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing methods across design, materials, tooling, and equipment.
• Plan workforce utilization, space, workflow and layout for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Production to ensure consistent methods.
• Provide troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and revise parameters as needed.
• Observe safety rules and keep work area clean.
