KSM, a leading audit and advisory firm, seeks an Audit Manager to lead engagement teams and mentor staff. You will review workpapers and financial statements, ensure quality and accuracy, and maintain strong client communication throughout the year, including addressing issues as they arise.

The role emphasizes GAAP expertise, manufacturing sector experience, and the ability to manage profitability while developing staff through coaching and training. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/BBA in Accounting or CPA/CA certification is required.
• Proficient in GAAP reporting standards.
• Manufacturing sector experience.
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• Understanding of audit services with GAAP, GAAS and FASB regulations.
• Proven record of building profitable client relationships.
• Minimum of 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff on multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engagement teams and manage client relationships.
• Provide timely, high-quality client service and oversee financial statement audits and related disclosures.
• Assess risk and design audit procedures for engagement teams.
• Mentor Senior Associates and review work products with coaching notes.
• Coordinate with firm specialists as needed on technical accounting matters.
• Supervise Audit Seniors and monitor productivity and adherence to work plans.
