Sheridan Group in Wisconsin is seeking a 2nd shift press helper to assist operators with basic set-up and quality checks. This role supports progression through press career ladders and includes training for future levels.
The pay range is $19.75-$21.25 per hour, plus shift differential, with potential shift changes as advancement occurs. The position requires basic mechanical and math skills, the ability to learn make-readies, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a manufacturing

Job Summary
Responsible for assisting operators with basic set-up functions and for checking product to ensure highest level of quality. This position is the first level in a three-step career progression on the Lithoman Press, a four-step career progression on the Sunday Press, and a two-step career progression on the Timson Press. When adequately trained and a second level position opens, progression to next level will be offered and may require a shift change.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals. Position requires ability to move with ease in the production area; remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time on concrete/hard surface; use hands and fingers constantly for handling, gripping, and manipulating product; constantly position oneself to complete work including bending, twisting, rotating, and reaching; and move product weighing up to 100 pounds.
