Job summary

The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the finishing/bindery process. You’ll learn to operate high-speed bindery equipment, feed books into machines, and pack finished materials while maintaining quality and safety standards.

We train the right candidate who shows reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn a long-term career in print manufacturing. This is a 2nd shift on-site role with team collaboration to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

What We’re Looking For:

Physical & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Walking: Must be able to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Must be able to stand (almost all jobs operations require long hours) on a concrete floor, or wooden platform.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Must be able to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.
