Adecco is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for our client in Grand Rapids, MI. This hands-on role offers exposure to a dynamic production environment with opportunities for growth. The position has a 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a pay rate of $16.90 per hour.

You will operate production machinery, perform assembly and finishing tasks, and help maintain safety and quality standards. The team emphasizes cross-training and collaboration to improve efficiency and meet production goals.

Adecco is seeking motivated individuals to join our client's manufacturing team in Grand Rapids as a Manufacturing Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment with potential for growth.

Position Details:

• Location: Grand Rapids, MI

• Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (training hours may vary)

• Pay Rate: $16.90/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment to efficiently process materials through various stages of manufacturing.

• Perform a variety of production tasks such as assembly, finishing, coating, surfacing, and lens processing, consistently following established procedures.

• Conduct routine inspections throughout the manufacturing cycle to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

• Prepare and handle materials with care, loading, unloading, and securing products for processing.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in strict compliance with safety protocols.

• Collaborate with team members across different production areas, supporting cross-training initiatives to enhance team flexibility and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and quick learner with technical processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical capability to lift and move between 30–50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.

• Willingness to work the specified shift and participate in mandatory overtime as needed.

• Enthusiasm for cross-training and performing multiple roles within the production process.
