Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the nighttime finishing/bindery role. You’ll train on high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to books, catalogs, and printed materials. The position offers full‑time hours and overtime opportunities, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Basic math skills, add/subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience is a plus
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment is a plus

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you. We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
• Basic problem‑solving skills
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools

• It’s a plus if you have:

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented production floor
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
