Job summary

Randstad USA in Monroe, CT is hiring multiple Manufacturing Production Associates to operate production machinery, assemble components, and perform precision hand soldering per SOPs. Must have prior experience, follow blueprints, and use precision measurement tools.

Shift is First (8 AM–4 PM) with pay of $18–$23 per hour. No degree required. Responsibilities include machine operation, assembly, soldering, quality logging, and 5S safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Load materials, monitor cycles, clear minor jams, and perform routine changeovers safely.
• Assembly: Build sub-assemblies and finished units using hand tools from blueprints and SOPs.
• Soldering: Hand soldering, wiring, and rework under magnification while observing ESD controls.
• Quality & Documentation: Inspect parts with calipers/multimeters and log results into production sheets.
• Safety & 5S: Maintain clean workstation and follow PPE and safety protocols.

Job description

Randstad is looking to hire multiple detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Associates to operate production machinery, assemble mechanical and electrical components, or perform precision hand soldering according to standard operating procedures. Must have solid prior experience/work history, ability to follow blueprints/work instructions, and proficient in precision measurement tools.

Salary: $18 - $23 per hour

Shift: First

Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Load raw materials, monitor equipment during cycles, clear minor jams, and perform routine changeovers safely.
• Assembly: Build sub-assemblies and finished units using hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and fixtures from blueprints and work instructions.
• Soldering: Execute through-hole and point-to-point hand soldering, wiring, and rework under magnification while adhering to ESD controls.
• Quality & Documentation: Inspect parts using calipers, multimeters, or visual standards (IPC-A-610 guidelines); log scrap, counts, and test results into production sheets.
• Safety & 5S: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to machine guarding, PPE, and shop safety protocols.
• Core Skills: Demonstrated hand soldering proficiency, manual dexterity, and the ability to interpret schematics, drawings, or SOPs.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform repetitive bench assembly, work under microscopes/magnifiers, stand or sit for full shifts, and lift up to 35–50 lbs.
