Amphenol Aerospace Operations in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for a 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) to perform tumbling, heat treat, and saw cut duties in the secondary operations environment.

The role requires following in-process quality inspections, collaborating with team members, and actively supporting Lean and 5S culture while assisting with preventive maintenance and reporting any equipment issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience or comfort with working on a busy manufacturing floor.
  • Familiarity with layouts/blueprints/schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

The successful candidate will report to the Machining Supervisor and perform tumbling, heat treat, and saw cut duties within the secondary operations environment.

3rd Shift Only. Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-air facility in Mesa.

The key responsibilities of this Manufacturing Associate include, but are not limited to:

  • Deburrs and cleans machined components
  • Performs heat treating for machined components
  • Perform saw cut operations including lifting raw bar stock and removing burs
  • Follows "in-process" quality inspections and works with team members to ensure total quality
  • Actively participates and advocates for Lean and 5S culture
  • Supports preventative maintenance of equipment and reports machine issues to production supervisor

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance from another team member
