Job Description

The primary role of the Manufacturing Associate is moving material around the plant or work site with a forklift and/or crane to ensure smooth production. Additional duties include packaging, weighing, loading/unloading materials, staging materials, building arbors, setting up machines, and performing various tasks to maintain safe and quality production. The role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and dedication to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using forklift and/or crane for production, finishing, packaging, or shipping.
• Supply parts and remove finished skids to warehouse.
• Stage materials for optimal machine efficiency.
• Support machines by managing scrap and clearing lines.
• Locate materials and package finished products for shipment.
• Track orders and tagging.
• Follow bill of materials for packaging and skidding.
• Perform finishing duties and other tasks to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency within the plant.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Ability to handle physical, repetitive work and stand for long hours.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to operate banding tools and read tape measures.
• Ability to handle small parts and understand quality policies.
• Ability to recognize quality issues and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Ability to read and understand bill of materials and production orders.
• Good safety awareness and communication skills.
