Description

The technician will perform repetitive departmental assembly operations or live assembly operations to mass produce products such as automobile interior trim components and assemblies.

Reports To

Production Supervisor

Responsibilities
  • Place parts in specified relationships and inspect straps, bolts, clips, screws, cements, or other fasteners. Operate and maintain machines such as KPM presses, inspection molds, welders, robots, forklifts, hoists, and cranes for material movement.
  • Adapt to different work situations, lines, or departments as production needs require. Meet quality and production targets while maintaining safety, housekeeping, and preventative maintenance. Ability to discern color may be required for certain positions.
  • May be assigned to drive tow motors.
  • Work any shift and be available for overtime on short notice.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality and environmental policies and procedures.
