About Us Ultra-Poly Corporation is a pioneer in recycling plastics through innovative manufacturing processes. We are a family-owned and operated regional business with our corporate headquarters located in Portland PA. We have immediate full-time 3rd shift openings (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) and are searching for new team members to join our Production Department in Bloomsburg as Material Handlers. These are entry-level opportunities supported by a team that will train you to perform in our environment.

What You Can Expect To Be Doing

• This position is "hands-on" and the individual should have a self-starter mindset.
• Setting up equipment for production following the schedule to fulfill customer orders.
• Operating large equipment such as shredders and grinders.
• Manually load and unload products into and out of equipment.
• Monitoring, adjusting, and being attentive to the equipment during shifts.
• Using forklifts to transfer materials within the production floor (note: this is not a forklift operator position).
• Executing all safety protocols - safety is critical.
• Keeping your designated work area clean.

What We Are Looking For In Our Hires

• Self-starters willing to learn.
• Strong work ethic, dependable, good attendance.
• Physical qualifications include lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in hot and cold conditions.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Mechanically inclined with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
