Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety-oriented individuals to join our team as a Production Associate in our climate-controlled facility in Jonestown, PA.

Your Job

• $22.00 per hour
• Shift differential of $1.00 per hour between 7pm and 7am
• Opportunity to increase compensation based on skills and contribution
• Eligible for a Performance Pay program with up to a 6% quarterly bonus

Shift

• Rotating 12-hour shifts on a Dupont schedule: 6:45am-7:00pm and 6:45pm-7:00am
• Days off between rotations
• Only candidates able to work this schedule will be considered

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to standards and specifications
• Monitor and input data into control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning
• Work as part of a team to meet production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate or work around mobile equipment

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environments, or post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial fields
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, with a 7-day break every 28 days

Preferred Skills

• Experience with computers, tablets, or smart devices
• Over one year of experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Adherence to safety rules and PPE requirements
• Lifting up to 45 lbs, walking, climbing, standing, pushing, pulling for up to 12 hours in a noisy, industrial environment
