Position Details

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

About the Role: What will you do?

As a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road. Your responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting tires to assess if they can be retreaded
  • Buffing the casing to remove worn tread
  • Removing embedded objects, rust, and repairing the tire casing
  • Using rubber cement or a patch to repair the casing before applying new tread
  • Building the tire by applying new tread
  • Curing the tire to mold the retread application
  • Final inspection to ensure safety and quality
