Our client is looking for an Assembler to join their manufacturing team. This company specializes in precision assembly within the medical device industry, focusing on high-quality component manufacturing. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for accurately bonding fittings, connectors, and valves to tubing and plastic parts using solvents, adhesives, and ultrasonic welding techniques. In this role, your fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and ability to read blueprints and assembly diagrams are essential to ensure precise work and product quality.You will work in a fast-paced environment, following detailed work instructions both verbally and in written procedures, while maintaining a focus on safety and accuracy. Your day-to-day tasks will include assembling medical components, operating under fume hoods with solvents, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals. The ideal candidate should be computer literate (able to access drawings and procedures on iPad and PC), dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.Work Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PMRequired Skills, Education and Experience:Experience in bonding fittings, connectors, and valves to tubing or plastic partsAbility to follow detailed work instructions and blueprintsExcellent fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination without the aid of magnificationComputer literacy, including accessing drawings and procedures onlineAssembly experience preferred, especially in the medical device industryAbility to work with solvents under a fume hood safelyReliable transportation and good attendance recordThink you know someone who'd be perfect for this role?
