Job summary

LINAK is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler I for the 1st shift (6:00 am–4:30 pm, Mon–Thu) in Louisville, KY. You will assemble products, using hand and power tools, while following safety rules and procedures to meet quality and schedule expectations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 6 months of assembly experience, willingness to rotate jobs and perform physical tasks, and exposure to Lean Manufacturing/5S is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months assembly experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing / 5S experience a plus.
• Must be able to perform job rotations and physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies.
• Use a wide range of Hand Tools.
• Use a wide range of Power Tools.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling.
• Produce according to schedule using standard procedures in safe and effective manner in an assigned work cell.
• Utilizes C-4 and other tools to foster Continuous Improvement.
