LINAK U.S. Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Assembler I in Louisville, KY. You will read instructions, assemble products or sub-assemblies, and operate hand and power tools within a lean manufacturing environment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and potential 6 months of assembly experience. The role requires flexibility, safety compliance, and the ability to perform line rotations to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• A minimum of 6 months of Assembly experience is preferred.
• Goal oriented with high degree of enthusiasm.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S experience is a plus.
• High efficiency, productivity, and flexibility are necessary.
• Must be able to perform job rotations / cross training.
• Perform physical demands of all jobs on the line.

Purpose

To establish the responsibilities and activities of the Manufacturing Assembler position for LINAK U.S. Inc. The following are the main responsibilities, but not limited to, for the Manufacturing Assembler.

Scope

Assembling products that meet or exceed our customer expectations in a safe and effective manner

Reports to: Production Team Lead

General Responsibilities:

• Read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies
• Use a wide range of Hand Tools
• Use a wide range of Power Tools
• Follow all the safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling
• All other duties as assigned
• Produce according to schedule using standard procedures in safe and effective manner in an assigned work cell
• Utilizes C-4 and other tools to foster Continuous Improvement

The Manufacturer Assembler I will work in support of and under the direction of the assigned Team Leader and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• A minimum of 6 months of Assembly experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S experience is a plus.
