Job summary

LINAK U.S., Inc is hiring for a Manufacturing Assembler I on the 2nd shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am) in Louisville, KY. You will assemble products, read instructions, and operate hand and power tools in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of assembly experience, with Lean Manufacturing/5S knowledge being a plus. ExpectRotations and physical demands of all line work, with strong teamwork and adaptability.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months of Assembly experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S experience is a plus.
• Must be able to perform job rotations / cross training and perform physical demands of all jobs on the line.

Responsibilities

• Assembling products that meet or exceed our customer expectations in a safe and effective manner.
• Read instructions and assemble products or sub-assemblies.
• Use a wide range of Hand Tools.
• Use a wide range of Power Tools.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling.
• Produce according to schedule using standard procedures in a safe and effective manner in an assigned work cell.
• Utilizes C-4 and other tools to foster Continuous Improvement.

Requirements:

• The individual must be goal oriented with high degree of enthusiasm.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S experience is a plus.
• High efficiency, productivity, and flexibility are necessary.
• Must be able to perform job rotations / cross training and perform physical demands of all jobs on the line.
