M.C. Dean is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler for the Ashland, VA area to support production by assembling, inspecting, packaging, and moving products and materials. You will collaborate with teammates to hit daily production goals while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role involves following lean manufacturing practices, reading work instructions, and maintaining records. This is a fast-paced position with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors or team leads.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
• Follow established manufacturing processes and safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling and inventory movement.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
