Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an Area Manager to oversee manufacturing operations for designated departments, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets while leveraging Lean, 6S, TOC and problem solving.

You will lead a supervision team, manage budgets, develop manufacturing plans, and drive continuous improvement across plant functions. Relocation is authorized; ITAR/EAR considerations may apply; bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering; MS/MBA desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in operations within manufacturing.
• Extensive training in manufacturing processes, supervision, and operations management.

Responsibilities

• Safely manufacture a quality product meeting specs and delivery commitments.
• Maintain process control procedures, instructions, and quality control.
• Develop long/short-range strategies for continuous improvements.
• Manage cost, delivery, and work-in-process levels; monitor production.
• Lead supervision, hiring, performance evaluations, and talent development.
