Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking an experienced AR / Collections Specialist for a contract assignment in the Greensboro area.

You will manage a high-volume AR portfolio, focus on past-due balances, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Accounting to improve cash flow. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AR/collections within manufacturing, strong ERP and Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Collections experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Strong AR aging, cash application, and reconciliation knowledge.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite or similar).
• Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume AR portfolio and oversee collections on past-due accounts.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts with customers.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and disputes.
• Process and apply customer payments and reconcile accounts.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Shipping, and Accounting to resolve issues.
• Monitor credits and assist with customer credit reviews as needed.
• Document collection activities and payment commitments in detail.
• Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requests.
• Generate AR reports using ERP systems and Excel.
