Job summary

••••• is seeking an entry-level Software Application Development Engineer to partner with Fab Manufacturing and Engineering to deliver innovative software solutions for highly automated factories. You will work with software and operations teams to implement, test, troubleshoot, and document business processes.

You will help analyze and automate manufacturing workflows, gather requirements, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field is preferred
• Oracle Certification is a plus and knowledge of SQL databases is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal customers to identify data and business needs and translate into software solutions
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify optimization opportunities
• Gather and document requirements from Fab Manufacturing and Engineering stakeholders
• Execute implementation and testing of application and database software releases
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations
• Prioritize MES configuration changes and manage related development projects
• Provide Tier 3 end-user support via on-call rotation
• Co-develop software tools and streamline processes to drive efficiency
• Adapt and reprioritize work as factory needs change
