Intel Corporation is hiring a Software Application Development Engineer to partner with Fab Manufacturing and Engineering teams, delivering software solutions and routines across automated factories. You will implement, test, troubleshoot, and document business processes while interfacing with software development teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience; OR a master’s or Ph.D. degree in a related field.
Oracle Certification (OCA, OCP, or OCM) preferred.
2+ years of experience in RDBMS systems including Oracle, MS-SQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with PL/SQL development.
C# programming experience.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of Software/Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Business process analysis and documentation experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal customers and partners to identify data and business needs and translate them into software solutions.
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Gather and document requirements from Fab Manufacturing and Engineering stakeholders.
Execute implementation and testing of application and database software releases with quality and reliability.
Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations clearly.
Prioritize configuration changes in MES and manage development and continuous improvement projects.
Provide Tier 3 end-user technical support via a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Co-develop software tools and streamline business processes to drive operational efficiency.
Adapt and reprioritize work based on factory needs.
