Job summary

DeKalb Health is seeking a Material Handler to support production by delivering materials and supplies to various machines and by cross-training to boost department efficiency and worker skills.

Shifts available: 1st 6:50am–3:00pm, 2nd 2:50pm–11:00pm, 3rd 10:50pm–7:00am. Entry level duties include keeping pace with the production line, inspecting products per quality guidelines, and recording production data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and supplies to production machines and monitor stock levels.
• Cross-train on production machines to increase department efficiency.
• Keep pace with the production line feeding or packing to meet output goals.
• Inspect products according to quality guidelines and record findings.
• Record production data in logs and ensure accuracy.
• Set up die-cutting machines and troubleshoot to maximize speed and quality.

Job description
