Job summary

Case Paper is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will load materials, perform routine maintenance, document production and quality data, and collaborate with maintenance staff to meet daily goals while following OSHA rules and PPE protocols. Experience in paper manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred (paper industry a plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor assigned production machinery.
  • Perform equipment adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Accurately complete production, quality, and downtime documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with changeovers, setup, and startup of production lines.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
