Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician focused on CNC & Automation for the 3rd shift. You will diagnose electrical/machine issues, repair components, and ensure safe operation of production equipment.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical systems per codes and blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, logging repairs, and collaborating with engineers and plant staff to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Experience repairing and troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses.

• Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and replace faulty components.
• Install & Maintain: Set up and repair electrical systems and hardware per codes and blueprints.
• Prevent Breakdowns: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Document Work: Keep logs of maintenance activities, part replacements, and repairs.
• Collaborate: Work with technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and optimize production.

Industrial Maintenance Technician (CNC & Automation) - 3rd Shift

What We Look For

• Core Skills:Strong electrical and mechanical analytical problem-solving ability. We are seeking a technician who is strong on the electrical side, but we will review candidates who are more mechanical.
• Experience: Repairing and troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses in a production environment.
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems.
• Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work the overnight shift and overtime is desired.
• Note: Specialized production machinery experts only; facilities maintenance backgrounds will not be considered. Skilled mechanical-only candidates with heavy CNC experience may be considered.

Available Shift

• 3rd Shift:Overnight coverage (Must be willing to work overtime as needed).
