Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op in Phoenix to learn, contribute, and bring fresh ideas to the Manufacturing Engineering team. In this hands-on role, you will support manufacturing process improvements, performance monitoring, and data analytics.

You will interpret, analyze, and summarize large datasets to support decision-making, perform exploratory data analysis, and create charts, dashboards, and reports to identify trends and opportunities beyond predefined KPIs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical discipline.
• GPA of 3.1 or higher; transcripts may be requested during review.
• Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts; MS Office proficiency; Power BI a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with the Manufacturing Engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Participate in team meetings to contribute to product and process improvement initiatives.
• Interpret, analyze, and summarize large datasets to support decision-making.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities beyond predefined KPIs.
• Conduct statistical data analysis and create clear charts, dashboards, and reports.
• Analyze equipment performance and utilization to support continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyze SPC trends and product yield data.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of analysis, findings, and process changes.
