Job summary

Altria Client Services LLC in Richmond, VA seeks an Associate Analyst Manufacturing to improve processes for manufacturing operations, maximize productivity, and drive out losses across assets.

You will apply industrial engineering tools, data analytics, and Lean methodologies, lead projects across functions, and develop analytical tools and reporting to deliver actionable insights for operational and strategic decisions. On-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical, etc.) or related field.
• Manufacturing production, process or equipment knowledge preferred.
• Highly curious with a passion for learning and applying new concepts, technologies, or ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial and systems engineering tools-including process mapping, work measurement, capacity analysis, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and Lean methodologies-to identify losses and improve manufacturing performance
• Apply data analytics, systems knowledge, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for AI applications, process automation, and process improvement
• Lead projects across functions to drive high impact, sustainable operational improvements
• Develop and manage analytical tools, reporting, and information resources to deliver actionable insights that support operational or strategic decision-making
• Standardize work processes and equipment operations to ensure losses removed from operation become the new way of working
• Build capability of hourly team members in driving out loss and leverage systems to identify top losses
