Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical, etc.) or related field.
• Manufacturing production, process or equipment knowledge preferred.
• Highly curious with a passion for learning and applying new concepts, technologies, or ways of working.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and detail oriented, with the ability to work effectively independently and within cross functional group settings.
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, Virginia
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial and systems engineering tools—including process mapping, work measurement, capacity analysis, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and Lean methodologies to identify losses and improve manufacturing performance
• Apply data analytics, systems knowledge, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for AI applications, process automation, and process improvement
• Lead projects across functions to drive high impact, sustainable operational improvements
• Develop and manage analytical tools, reporting, and information resources to deliver actionable insights that support operational or strategic decision-making
• Standardize work processes and equipment operations to ensure losses removed from operation become the new way of working
• Build capability of hourly team members in driving out loss and leverage systems to identify top losses
