Job summary

Cisco is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Manufacturing to drive technical strategy for deploying AI-powered security and observability across manufacturing environments. You will act as the technical authority on OT/IT convergence, production resiliency, and supply chain visibility, translating complex requirements into differentiated solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering supporting manufacturing.
Experience with OT/ICS environments (SCADA, PLCs, MES).
Experience with security operations (SIEM/SOAR), observability, or industrial monitoring platforms.
Experience integrating SAP ecosystems with back-office workflows.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead technical expert on manufacturing use cases (OT/ICS security, production uptime, supply chain visibility).
Design and deliver tailored demonstrations, POVs, and reference architectures mapping Splunk's platform to manufacturing environments (SCADA, PLC, MES, IIoT).
Drive AI adoption and internal tooling initiatives to automate order processing, invoicing, sourcing, and warehousing.
Architect and demonstrate SAP integration to connect plant-floor operations with back-office systems.
