Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with accounts payable, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and general accounting activities.
• Knowledge of internal controls and their application in financial processes.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including invoice entry, coding, filing, and processing
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, wire transfers, and employee reimbursements
• Support year-end 1099 filings for qualifying suppliers
• Participate in month-end close activities and record accruals
• Complete bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies
• Prepare freight-related transactions and other accounting entries
• Prepare schedules and documents for auditors and internal requests
• Support internal controls and IFRS/GAAP compliance
