Job summary

General Matter, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to own manufacturing accounting as we scale domestic nuclear fuel production. Reporting to the Controller, you will oversee inventory accounting, cost allocations, reconciliations, and month-end close while developing policies and processes.

This hands-on role offers broad exposure across the balance sheet, income statement, and operations. You will partner with Supply Chain, Analytics Engineering, FP&A, and manufacturing teams to improve

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory costing, absorption costing or ABC costing.
• Experience supporting financial close, audits, or technical accounting analyses.

Responsibilities

• Own inter-company transactions, debt, and capital expenditure accounting.
• Manage month-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and processes to improve reliability.
