Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting is seeking a Site Cost Accounting Manager for a manufacturing operation in the United States. You will lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and partner with operations to ensure accurate costing and financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting with 3+ years in manufacturing, and a hands-on, analytical approach to cost accounting, GAAP, and ERP systems such as Sage or

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing.
Experience in a smaller manufacturing environment (approximately $50M in annual revenue or less).
Strong knowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
ERP experience with Sage, NetSuite, GSS, or similar systems.
Hands-on, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with operations.
Ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Oversee general ledger reporting, account reconciliations, and financial statement reviews.
Manage inventory valuation, cost accounting, and revenue/cost reporting.
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate costing and financial reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly operational reviews.
Strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and support audits.
Work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights and operational support.
