Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and management review.
• Review Staff Accountants' work for accuracy, completeness and policy compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring correct period postings.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, and financial reporting schedules.
• Support consolidation and intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and eliminations.
• Coordinate accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and other accounting activities.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and retained per company requirements.
• Support annual physical inventory and cycle counts, including controls and corrective actions.
• Analyze manufacturing performance, cost, yield, labor, overhead, and gross margins.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and provide timely analysis to Finance and operations.
• Develop and monitor accounting and manufacturing-finance metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and support audits and SOX requirements if applicable.
• Lead ERP implementations, system upgrades, and automation efforts in the accounting function.
