Job summary

PSA Systems is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, oversee the month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will supervise the accounting staff and collaborate with the Controller to ensure accuracy and compliance.

This hands-on role requires a strong background in manufacturing accounting, WIP costing, ERP systems, and advanced Excel. You will drive internal controls and provide analyses to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, the month-end close process, financial reporting, and WIP accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA is not required; strong technical accounting background and the ability to work independently with oversight from the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting analyses for review by the Controller.
• Assist with work-in-progress (WIP) reporting and analysis to ensure accurate project costing and financial reporting.
• Supervise the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting functions as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and maintain strong internal controls.
• Assist with ERP system maintenance and reporting.
