Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Eastlake, OH is seeking an Assistant Controller to join the Finance team. You will partner with the Plant Controller to drive financial visibility, reporting, and decision support in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong accounting experience, GAAP, and leadership; you'll manage month-end close, cost accounting, and audits, while supporting strategic initiatives and KPI analysis across the site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Accounting/Finance with progressive responsibility
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years in public accounting preferred
• 1+ year direct/indirect leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close for CPP-Eastlake
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for Controller and GM
• Drive cost accounting and manufacturing accounting initiatives
• Interact with site personnel from Supervisors to Executives
• Provide oversight for internal and external audit activities
• Responsible for P&L, balance sheet, and KPI variance analysis
• Review standard costing, WIP routing, and BOM updates
• Lead project teams to complete business initiatives
• Support and backup to accounting team members
