Job summary

Constellation Search Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations in a lean manufacturing environment. This hands-on role includes month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination to deliver timely and reliable numbers.

You will lead close processes, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, statements, and support external audits, while improving processes and adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience leading the month-end close and annual audit process.
• SAP/ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, analyze results and explain variances.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Lead the annual external audit process, including preparation of schedules and deliverables.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support inventory, fixed asset, accrual, and other accounting activities.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and accounting/finance tasks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
