Qualifications

• 2–3 years accounting, AP/AR, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet maintenance.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, payment processing, account coding, and account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, customer payments, credits, and adjustments.
• Match purchase orders, receiving docs, and vendor invoices with quantities, pricing, coding, and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing or payment discrepancies; assist with past‑due follow‑up.
• Support inventory, freight, manufacturing cost reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and GL maintenance.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, spreadsheets, files and reports to support month‑end close and daily activity.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, purchasing, production, warehouse and shipping teams to resolve discrepancies.
