Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a dependable General Accountant in Fresno, CA to support daily accounting operations in a fast-paced production environment. This full-time role emphasizes strong AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger experience, with focus on accuracy and teamwork.

The General Accountant will work closely with the Controller and management to support financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting process improvements, with immediate interviews and a clear path

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, journal entries, bank reconciliations and GL.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable functions, including vendor invoices and timely payments.
• Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and aging reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and GL account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closes and related reporting.
• Support audits and collaborate with internal departments on financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
