MasterMold LLC is seeking an Accounting Associate to join the Finance team and support daily financial operations in a manufacturing setting. The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR processing, cash applications, payroll verification, and cost accounting tasks as part of a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has at least an Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, GAAP familiarity, and good communication and analytical abilities, with preferred

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• GAAP understanding.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and deadline-oriented.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Process accounts payable invoices, POs, and payments.
• Support accounts receivable: invoicing, receipts, reconciliations.
• Perform daily cash applications and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll data verification and records.
• Support financial reporting, audit prep, and fixed assets.
• Maintain cost accounting docs, cost sheets, and data entry.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting questions.
• Perform additional accounting and admin duties as assigned.
