Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager with manufacturing industry background and strong GAAP and month-end experience. The role oversees the accounting department, ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing financial processes, and coordinating with other departments to support business objectives. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with 5+ years of experience and supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports with GAAP compliance.
• Assist in annual budgets and forecasts with variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, invoices, payments, and collections.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure internal controls.
• Manage, train, and mentor accounting staff; delegate tasks to ensure efficiency.
• Identify process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
