Job summary

Itron is seeking an accounting professional to support NAM manufacturing accounting functions, reporting to the manager responsible for these areas. The role helps maintain a strong control environment, supports SOX compliance, and applies U.S. GAAP policies across inventory and royalties.

Key duties include GL entries, reconciliations, close activities using Oracle ERP/EPM, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Continuous-improvement mindset and adaptability to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support NAM inventory and royalty accounting operations, including GL entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Perform close activities monthly, quarterly, and annually using Oracle ERP and EPM.
• Apply accounting policies and internal controls to ensure U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Maintain well-documented records and actionable control evidence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on initiatives.
• Assist with SEC filing schedules and audit deliverables.
• Support process improvements and automation to drive efficiency.
